DYMA CORREA

PROJECTS

What I build — realistic systems from real domains. The write-up lives here; the code lives on GitHub.

    Case study

Manmics is a comics reader for a personal library: you add sources, keep chapter progress, and pick up the same title on the phone or in the browser. The hard part is not a pretty viewer—it is one catalog, one history, and sources that can be added without rewriting the app.

The core stays in Kotlin on purpose. Library, reading state, and source adapters live in a shared domain; Android is the first client, and the web client consumes the same model instead of becoming a second product. Offline cache and extension-style sources come after that library holds up.

    Repo

PayRoute is a payments-platform slice: before a transfer is approved, a Go service validates and stores it, then asks a Python risk service over gRPC (HTTP/2) whether the operation fits the risk appetite. That is the same gate a neobank puts between the BFF and the ledger—approve or reject with a clear trail, not blind money movement.

The technical heart stays small on purpose: shared .proto contracts, hexagonal layout on the Go side, idempotency keys so retries do not double-debit, plus timeout and circuit breaker toward risk. Phase 1 runs on Docker Compose; AWS/Terraform is scaffolded for a later deploy path.

    Repo Demo

A lightweight site for projects and journal notes without a CMS: copy lives in content/, and Hugo writes static HTML.

GitHub remains the source of truth for code; this is just a clearer presentation layer.
